📋 Description

• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned webinars, editorial-led sessions, and online events across LMG • Source high-quality speakers and develop scientific event agendas • Research scientific literature to focus events on advancements in life sciences, drug discovery, and analytical chemistry • Oversee production tasks including client communication, pre-recording, video editing, and live event administration • Use BigMarker and other event software for online event production • Write promotional copy to support event marketing • Ensure communication between clients, speakers, and internal teams • Maintain high-quality execution of online events • Support production and administration for live online events across different time zones • Maintain accuracy of data trackers and project management tools such as Trello • Attend weekly department meetings and provide event progress updates

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience in event production OR a bachelor's degree in a scientific field (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related discipline) • Experience in a client-facing role and project management • Marketing experience (desirable) • Understanding of the science industry (preferred) • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Technically adept and comfortable learning new software • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities • Comfortable engaging with clients, scientists, and key opinion leaders • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively • Demonstrable passion for science and science communication • Flexibility to accommodate occasional work outside normal office hours • Open to eligible candidates in Canada
