⢠Develop, maintain, and expand internal and external relationships within a specified geographic territory ⢠Make approximately 40 outbound calls per day to Financial Advisors to educate them on investment lending products and assist with sales ⢠Conduct meetings with advisors to drive sales and understand their practices ⢠Educate advisors on investment leverage strategies ⢠Contact Financial Advisors unfamiliar with Manulife Bank using Salesforce, cold calling, and AI-powered technologies ⢠Serve as a subject matter expert on Manulife Bank specialized lending products, solutions, and strategies ⢠Educate advisors and support staff on Manulife Bank tools, processes, and technologies ⢠Achieve sales and activity goals in yearly plans ⢠Demonstrate application completion and review applications for good business order ⢠Assist with service cases and escalations and resolve advisor concerns ⢠Maintain monthly touch points with RDS/PLA partners on territory strategy ⢠Develop and execute quarterly and yearly territory business plans ⢠Participate in territory budget planning, in-person events, webinars, email campaigns, lead management, marketing, and presentations ⢠Review and analyze sales data and reports for goal tracking and forecasting ⢠Create, analyze, and review advisor Book of Business and AUM reports ⢠Share best practices and collaborate with Manulife Bank business units ⢠Identify opportunities to improve existing products and services ⢠Collaborate with Manulife Wealth, Manulife Insurance, and Manulife Group representatives ⢠Complete internal training modules and follow sales, industry, bank compliance, and internal policies ⢠Attend and contribute to team meetings and events ⢠Participate in a senior ILC buddy system to onboard and mentor new team members ⢠Create marketing, sales campaigns, webinars, contests, and other initiatives to drive territory sales
⢠Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in banking/insurance ⢠Minimum of 2 years previous experience with growing a client base ⢠Proven track record as a sales professional or high potential to become one ⢠Ability to analyze sales data and reports ⢠Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Power BI, and Adobe platforms is an asset ⢠Business planning and territory management skills ⢠Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships ⢠Banking, investment, and Insurance knowledge is an asset ⢠Passion for learning and development ⢠Bilingualism (English and French) is required ⢠Proficiency in English and French required to support clients from various provinces outside of Quebec ⢠Strict adherence to AML/KYC/KYA guidelines ⢠Ability to attend short periods of travel to regional and national sales conferences across Canada and possible limited sales visits to territories ⢠Ability to manage a company credit card, budgets, and expenses
