• Develop, monitor, and implement innovative, goal-oriented, return-to-work rehabilitation strategies for plan members • Build positive relationships through frequent communication and collaboration with plan sponsors, plan members, treatment providers, and internal partners • Drive cases toward successful return to work or job-resolution readiness • Manage vendors and budgets to ensure effective and efficient treatments are available • Complete daily administrative tasks, including timely responses to emails and telephone calls • Listen and communicate with plan members using resiliency, emotional intelligence, and compassion • Deliver difficult messages to plan members when required
• Fully bilingual in French and English • Post-secondary diploma, CEGEP (DEC or DEP), or bachelor’s degree in a healthcare program • Health Sciences-related education and direct rehabilitation-setting experience preferred • Sound knowledge of rehabilitation industry standards • Knowledge of disability insurance and medical terminology • Knowledge of disability and rehabilitation management best practices • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to make meaningful decisions efficiently under tight deadlines • Comfortable and skilled handling incoming and outgoing calls • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills • Valid driver’s license; may be required to travel to various locations
