📋 Description

• Verify documents for residential mortgage applications from new loan inception through instructions to lawyers and notaries • Prepare and process mortgage-related transactions and documents • Review Mortgage Specialist submissions to ensure files are in good order and conditions are met • Set up and administer new mortgage business and process related financial transactions • Address routine queries from internal partners • Resolve situations, influence decisions, and maintain accountability for workload and responsiveness • Support the team in meeting urgent deadlines and managing increased volumes • Respond to and resolve inquiries promptly • Build collaborative working relationships with internal departments through excellent customer service • Identify continuous improvement opportunities, share improvement ideas, and assist with implementation • Ensure escalated complaint investigations consider customer experience • Follow Bank policies and standards for information, supporting documentation, and mortgage discharge processes

🎯 Requirements

• Fully bilingual (French/English), required to communicate in English and French • General knowledge of residential mortgage business and mortgage underwriting practices an asset • Sound knowledge of MS Office programs, such as Word, Excel, Outlook • Previous Banking experience is an asset • Excellent customer service skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Proven organization and time management skills • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment • Ability to understand and correctly interpret legal mortgage documents • Strong team player • Willingness to work flexible hours during peak season
