📋 Description

• Mature, maintain, and build features for Mozilla’s Internal Developer Infrastructure Platform • Create standardized, scalable systems for CI/CD, observability, Kubernetes optimization, environment bootstrapping, and cost optimization • Support infrastructure used by development teams to own and operate their services • Guide technical decision-making and adoption of user-centric solutions • Create Claude skills and design agentic workflows to improve developer productivity • Guide team members and promote engineering standard methodologies focused on usability and maintainability • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration for efficient and cohesive platform delivery • Write proposals and decision briefs for new policies, processes, and platform functionality • Create platform features with a meaningful value proposition • Resolve unclear but urgent tasks

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years experience in software engineering with expertise in at least one of Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or DevOps • Proven technical leadership experience • Expertise in several of ArgoCD, Grafana, K8s, GitHub, Terraform, Helm, Backstage, or Cloud Cost Optimization • Proficient in Python, JavaScript, or Go • Strong expertise in cloud-native technologies; GCP preferred and AWS acceptable • Excellent communication skills aligning technology with user needs and organizational goals • Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity • Curiosity and interest in learning new things • Commitment to Mozilla values: welcoming differences, being relationship-minded, practicing responsible participation, and having grit • Bonus: experience with distributed systems architecture and design • Bonus: knowledge of cloud security and governance principles • Bonus: experience designing agentic workflows • Bonus: database expertise • Bonus: experience building Internal Developer Platforms
