• Lead and manage assigned marketing strategies, campaigns, and audience engagement initiatives • Develop and implement plans that grow and engage priority audiences, expand brand visibility, and support organizational objectives • Create or guide compelling written content, messaging, and storytelling for campaigns and communications • Partner with communications, philanthropy, conservation, and leadership teams on integrated marketing and communications approaches • Serve as a strategic partner to internal teams and collaborators, shaping approaches, clarifying goals, and aligning projects with audience and brand strategy • Ensure creative work reflects organizational positioning, brand standards, and voice across channels and materials • Manage assigned budgets, evaluate results, and recommend adjustments or corrective strategies • Track performance and apply insights to strengthen audience engagement, campaign effectiveness, and overall impact • Resolve complex issues independently within the program area • Potentially coordinate and manage budgets or oversee day-to-day program or project work • Potentially supervise professional and/or administrative staff • Translate complex or technical information into clear, compelling content for diverse audiences • Work with senior staff, Canadian teams, divisional and global teams, external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum 7 years’ related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Experience managing client and account relationships • Experience implementing and managing multiple complex projects • Experience negotiating agreements • Multi-lingual skills appreciated • Multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience preferred • Experience leading in a team-based environment with internal and/or external partners • Experience translating strategic goals into audience-focused plans, content, and campaigns • Strong writing and editing experience for varied audiences and formats • Experience developing and implementing marketing strategies, campaigns, and audience engagement initiatives • Experience conceiving and writing creatively for various audiences from technical or complex information • Experience working across marketing and communications functions in a collaborative environment • Experience supporting communications or marketing work that advances Indigenous right relations, with cultural awareness, respect, and strong judgment • Practical knowledge of current and evolving marketing, audience engagement, digital channel, and content strategy trends • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate ideas compellingly • Detailed knowledge of procedures and terms in the relevant field of experience
