📋 Description

• Coaching, managing and guiding staff to navigate and resolve issues and ensure the sections of physician leaders in the Medical & Primary Care Networks (Networks) receive a consistent and high level of support. • Manages the day-to-day work of the team that supports section physician leaders in the Networks with planning and organizing section work and supporting the escalation of issues. • Monitors the development and maintenance of productive relationships with physician leaders through outreach and trust; gains an understanding of key member issues. • Liaising and coordinating activities with other OMA departments and physician leaders to ensure an effective and integrated flow of processes. • Working with the Associate Executive Director to support a high functioning Network structure where constituencies collaborate, discuss issues, and share resources. • Provides Secretariat support for the Medical and Primary Care Networks and following up on action items from Network meetings. • Acting as a subject matter expert regarding OMA policy positions, legal and financial issues, products, services, etc. • Working with the Associate Executive Director to identify budget requirements, develop annual operating budgets, forecasts etc. for the Section Engagement team and for assigned constituencies, where required.

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree in Health Science, Political Science or equivalent. • Six to nine years of relevant healthcare administration, public speaking and political acuity experience. • Applied knowledge and experience in Ontario’s health care sector is ideal. • Experience in relationship management and stakeholder engagement. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills. • Ability to build and manage relationships with both internal and external customers/stakeholders. • Demonstrated experience and skills with people leadership, including ability to lead through change.
