📋 Description

• Execute weekly payroll preparation and distribution for the organization’s multi-state and Union payroll • Ensure payroll processes comply with regulations and company policy • Monitor changes to payroll processes, policies, and laws • Administer payroll for defined employee groups • Audit weekly employee timesheets and notify managers of issues • Review HR employee changes and ensure they are processed correctly • Prepare pre-payroll uploads from authorized personnel • Set up and update Union deductions according to collective bargaining agreements • Administer garnishments in accordance with federal and provincial requirements • Save weekly payroll backup, including pre-check and post-check reports • Maintain quarterly and yearly tax information on the designated payroll drive • Answer questions and provide guidance to employees, leaders, internal partners, external partners, and former employees • Assist with system setup for jobs requiring wage adjustments • Prepare accurate and timely weekly wage-related reporting for Davis Bacon, Service Contract, and Union items • Troubleshoot reporting issues

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma • Payroll processing experience for 500+ employees • Solid understanding of multi-provincial and multi-state payroll practices • Experience with Unions • Experience with Davis Bacon and Service Contract payroll and reporting • Excellent customer service skills • Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills • PC proficiency, specifically Microsoft applications • Self-directed and motivated to succeed and exceed expectations • 3+ years of payroll experience preferred • Experience with UKG Pro, WFM, or Ultimate software preferred • Excel experience with VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables preferred
