📋 Description

• Review and approve payroll runs, including off-cycle payments, bonuses, commissions, and payroll corrections • Administer and serve as subject matter expert for UKG Ready Payroll • Oversee payroll system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization • Oversee multi-state payroll compliance, including tax withholding, registrations, reporting, and federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations • Own year-end payroll processes, including W-2s, W-2 corrections, 1099s, payroll tax filings, and payroll-related audit support • Design and maintain payroll internal controls, approval workflows, segregation of duties, payroll reconciliations, and SOPs • Manage and develop payroll operations • Supervise the payroll processor • Partner with Human Resources on employee lifecycle transactions • Ensure accurate payroll and benefits processing • Report to the Controller

🎯 Requirements

• 5-7 years of payroll experience, including multi-state payroll and compliance • Prior experience managing or leading payroll staff strongly preferred • CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation preferred • Experience with payroll and HRIS systems such as ADP, Workday, or Paylocity • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field • Ability to work remotely from a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace • Applicants located in the listed priority states are favored • Must present a valid government-issued photo ID during screening and/or interviews • Consent to photograph capture during screening or interview for identity verification, security, and record-keeping purposes
