• Develop and implement regional strategies supporting timely and appropriate patient access to Pfizer medicines and vaccines • Lead regional market access strategies for Quebec and Atlantic Canada • Translate national reimbursement strategies into province-specific action plans • Develop and execute cross-functional access and launch-readiness plans for pipeline, launch, and in-line products • Identify reimbursement pathways, implementation dependencies, potential barriers, risks, and opportunities • Provide regional perspectives to national reimbursement, evidence-generation, portfolio, forecasting, and launch planning • Build and maintain trusted relationships with provincial public payers and health-system stakeholders • Lead or support payer engagement throughout the product life cycle • Provide provincial insight into health technology assessment, payer value propositions, reimbursement submissions, evidence-generation priorities, pan-Canadian Pharmaceutical Alliance negotiations, and product listing agreement planning • Translate payer and health-system needs into actionable cross-functional recommendations • Identify gaps between reimbursement decisions and patient or institutional access and develop practical solutions • Serve as Pfizer’s primary field-based market access contact across Quebec and Atlantic Canada • Develop strategic account plans, stakeholder maps, engagement objectives, customer insights, and follow-up actions • Monitor regional health care, reimbursement, funding, procurement, and policy developments • Build relationships with patient, professional, industry, academic, research, and life sciences organizations • Coordinate regional engagement and connect customers with Pfizer subject-matter experts • Lead cross-functional regional access planning and align internal teams • Influence decisions and build shared accountability in a highly matrixed environment • Partner with Government Relations and Policy colleagues on developments affecting reimbursement or patient access • Provide market access insight for government engagement, policy submissions, advocacy, and stakeholder strategies • Identify policy barriers and support solutions advancing patient access and health-system sustainability • Conduct activities in accordance with Pfizer policies, applicable laws, industry codes, privacy and lobbying requirements, and adverse-event and product-complaint reporting procedures
• University degree in science, health sciences, pharmacy, epidemiology, economics, business, public policy, or a related discipline • Minimum five years of relevant experience in market access, reimbursement, public payer engagement, pharmaceuticals, health care, government, policy, or a related sector • Strong knowledge of Canadian public reimbursement, health technology assessment, public drug programs, and provincial funding processes • Strong knowledge of Quebec and familiarity with Atlantic Canada preferred • Demonstrated experience developing regional access strategies, supporting launches and reimbursement planning, and building trusted relationships with payers, funding decision-makers, and health-system stakeholders • Experience with pan-Canadian Pharmaceutical Alliance negotiations, product listing agreements, formulary implementation, or public procurement is an asset • Strong business acumen and ability to translate complex payer, clinical, economic, policy, and health-system information into clear recommendations • Proven ability to lead cross-functional work and influence in a matrixed environment • Strong project management, analytical, communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities across a broad geography • Ability to travel regularly within Quebec, Atlantic Canada, and elsewhere in Canada • Full professional proficiency in French and English, written and spoken, is required • Ability to engage Quebec customers in French and collaborate with Atlantic Canada and national stakeholders in English • Strong writing, presentation, and facilitation skills in both languages
