📋 Description

• Design and implement enterprise integration solutions using Apache Camel, including Camel K, Camel Quarkus, or Camel Spring Boot • Develop and manage Apache Kafka event streaming solutions, including topic design, producer and consumer development, stream processing, and schema management using Apicurio Registry • Design, develop, and expose APIs using Red Hat 3scale API Management • Deploy, configure, and support integrations running on Red Hat OpenShift • Administer and optimize Red Hat AMQ Streams and messaging platforms • Integrate enterprise applications and services using REST APIs, SOAP services, databases, AMQ Broker/ActiveMQ Artemis, and SaaS platforms • Develop and maintain automated testing, integration validation, and CI/CD processes using OpenShift Pipelines (Tekton), Jenkins, and Git-based workflows • Monitor integration health, performance, and reliability using Prometheus, Grafana, Hawtio, and related monitoring tools • Perform data transformation and mapping using JSON, XML, Avro, and XSLT • Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps, and development teams to align solutions with enterprise standards, security requirements, and operational objectives • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Integration Development, Middleware Engineering, or a related discipline • Hands-on experience developing integration solutions with Apache Camel, including Camel K, Camel Quarkus, or Spring Boot implementations • Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, event streaming, Kafka Streams, and schema-based messaging • Experience with Red Hat Integration technologies, including AMQ Streams, Red Hat Fuse, or Camel-based solutions deployed on OpenShift • Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin • Experience with Python is considered an asset • Experience designing and consuming REST and SOAP web services, including OpenAPI/Swagger specifications • Strong understanding of JSON, XML, and Avro • Experience deploying and supporting containerized workloads using Red Hat OpenShift and/or Kubernetes • Familiarity with Git-based development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices • Security Clearance: Secret or higher is required at time of application • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional technical teams
