📋 Description

• Own driver-based financial models for supported business areas • Embed with GTM, Product, and potentially Payments Strategy, Risk, and Operations teams to challenge assumptions, frame tradeoffs, and advise decisions • Forecast subscriber metrics, TPV, and revenue by product line and payment rail • Investigate metric movements, explain their causes, assess whether changes are favorable or concerning, and recommend actions • Connect function-level models to the central company budget and operating plan • Build and maintain live SQL data pipelines from Databricks or a similar warehouse into models • Help modernize planning infrastructure through tooling, automation, or architecture • Distill complex analysis into clear stories for executive, board, and investor audiences • Partner with the Senior Financial Analyst to maintain coherent forecasting, budgeting, and reporting • Help define how finance partners with the business as the function grows

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in strategic finance, FP&A, or business analytics, ideally in fintech, SaaS, or another recurring-revenue business • Knowledge of payments or transaction economics, including take rate, transaction mix across rails, cost per transaction, and volume-to-revenue conversion • Practical knowledge of SaaS metrics including ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, payback, and LTV • Hands-on SQL against a warehouse such as Databricks, wired into Excel for live-refresh workflows • Advanced Excel and driver-based modeling • Ability to reason about causation versus correlation and evaluate experiments • Exceptional communication skills for technical, non-technical, and business-leader audiences • Partnering instinct and judgment to prioritize work and clearly decline requests when necessary • Ability to use AI tools to automate analytical workflows • Experience helping select or implement FP&A planning tooling
