📋 Description

• Design and build a scalable data platform for batch and streaming use cases • Build data catalog and data lineage capabilities • Design and enforce robust data security architectures and controls • Build low-latency services for streaming and near-real-time use cases • Enable real-time decisions for dynamic oddsmaking, risk analysis, and smart deposit defaults • Champion model deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD best practices for data pipeline deployment • Enable complete observability for batch and streaming data platforms • Ensure 99.99% platform availability

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Platform Engineering deploying and maintaining scalable data platforms in high-traffic production environments • Proficiency in streaming architectures such as Kafka, Flink, and PubSub • Ability to build low-latency services for stream ingestion and processing with model inference under 100ms • Proficiency with containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, and cluster-level management • Deep experience managing the full data lifecycle and setting up data exploration environments • Expert coding skills in Python and Go • Deep experience with cloud services, preferably GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, GKE) or AWS equivalents • Extensive experience with big data technologies including Spark, Flink, Kafka or Kinesis, Argo/Airflow, Polaris, OpenMetadata, Iceberg, Lakehouse, Redis, Elasticsearch, and databases • Experience building REST APIs, package management, and libraries • Key contribution to projects across the entire development lifecycle from concept to release • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable • Standout qualifications include infrastructure implementation, Daily Fantasy Sports/oddsmaking/high-frequency trading experience, batch and real-time data platform scaling, data-team self-service enablement, and AI-agent or AI-coding experience
