• Coordinate direct engagement with youth with and without disabilities through the RHFSP Youth Leadership Committee, Difference Maker of the Year Awards, and global Youth Leadership Network • Plan and execute the Difference Maker of the Year Awards from nominations through post-award activities • Coordinate equitable nomination review and promote nominations with the Marketing and Communications team • Serve as the main contact for award nominators, nominees, recipients, and Youth Leadership Committee members • Respond to inquiries related to the awards • Develop and execute plans to expand the awards globally, including international partnerships • Coordinate projects, monitor timelines and deliverables, and follow up to ensure accurate, timely completion • Facilitate onboarding and offboarding of Youth Leadership Committee members and ensure safeguarding compliance • Research and coordinate mentorship opportunities and select guest speakers for monthly meetings • Provide leadership to committee members and support completion of annual projects • Contribute to developing and executing a global Youth Leadership Network with youth input • Maintain accurate program data and reporting in Salesforce • Contribute to surveys, reports, and funder stewardship reports • Prepare purchase orders, invoices, RFPs, contracts, approval forms, and expense claims • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming, program expansion, optimization, research, and special projects
• University degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum 3 years of related experience in program coordination, youth engagement and facilitation, or equity-focused practice • Experience supporting youth-focused programs and/or event planning, outreach initiatives, or relationship management • Experience working with youth and effectively engaging youth audiences • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook • Experience with virtual meeting/webinar technology such as Zoom and MS Teams • Experience using AI-enabled tools responsibly, such as Copilot, preferred • Experience with databases, Salesforce and/or other CRM databases are assets • Knowledge of program management and development of policies and procedures • Effective oral and written communication skills, including clear and inclusive communication with youth, partners, and internal teams • Ability to build trusting, respectful relationships with youth from varied backgrounds and experiences • Effective interpersonal, relationship and team-building skills • Effective coordination, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills • Ability to be flexible, creative, and professional when responding to changing needs • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality • Proven attention to detail • Commitment to inclusive, accessible, and trauma-informed engagement practices • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Ability to work independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment • Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check required • Lived experience with a disability or demonstrated connection to youth-serving communities may be considered an asset in lieu of formal education
