📋 Description

• Manage all aspects of patient enrollment, reimbursement processes, and service coordination for prescribed therapies • Provide drug coverage support to physicians and patients • Follow up on private and provincial drug plan submissions • Ensure timely patient access to prescribed treatments • Collaborate with patients, insurers, and physicians on documentation required for maximum reimbursement coverage • Investigate public and private insurers and support employer escalations • Review patient charts, previous therapies, and tests to assist physicians with coverage documentation • Provide therapy guidelines and program education to patients and physicians • Collect information and conduct patient financial eligibility assessments • Coordinate and track patient services for timely and continued therapy access • Report Adverse Events and Severe Adverse Events according to approved SOPs • Maintain case management service levels and established KPIs • Update the CRM tool with patient and clinic information • Collaborate with internal patient support teams • Provide field feedback to the Program Manager regarding service quality, training, and other important areas • Identify coverage obstacles and escalate information to the Program Manager or Assistant Program Manager • Complete timesheets, expenses, mileage, and CRM reports within required timelines • Perform additional duties as requested by the Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Post secondary education with minimum of 2 years experience in health care • 1-2 years of experience in Patient Support Program is an asset • Bilingualism (English and French) is required • Experience with reimbursement billing, special access, the appeals process, and conducting field-based reimbursement support and consultation is an asset • Knowledge of private and public reimbursement structure, systems, and the process is an asset • Experience with oncology is an asset • Must be able to work from home and have a quiet, private home office space • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French • Strong analytical skills including interpretation of regulation and legislation • Advanced knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills • Effective interpersonal skills • Typing skills and ability to be a strong functional user of various computer-based programs • Ability to work Monday to Friday, within 8:00am-8:00pm EST rotating shifts
