📋 Description

• Manage and contribute to upcoming projects • Coach and mentor a team of high-powered engineers • Write code in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to quality • Collaborate with development teams, product management, and design on cross-domain problems • Contribute to architecture, strategy, and technical decisions • Coordinate, scope, and execute large initiatives • Help grow Snapsheet into an industry technology leader • Partner with internal recruitment to screen, interview, and hire top talent

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field • 7+ years of full-stack web development experience • Experience designing and building APIs • Experience designing schemas and performant queries for relational databases • Understanding of scalability challenges and server-side code performance • Prior experience using back end languages; Ruby on Rails a plus • Prior experience using front end web frameworks • 2+ years of experience in an engineering manager, team lead, or lead developer-like role • Preference for candidates with experience using Rails, React, and Typescript • Experience with MySQL, Redis, AWS, Docker, CloudFront, JavaScript, Ruby, SQL, Rails, React, Slack, Jira, Atlassian, and Confluence • Must reside outside Alaska, California, Hawaii, Montana, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Wyoming • Snapsheet cannot sponsor applicants for work visas
