📋 Description

• Install, repair, maintain, and perform qualification services on Fluidigm systems at customer sites. • Troubleshoot instrument hardware and software under challenging conditions. • Identify product and process improvement opportunities and communicate them. • Use the customer management tool to track work orders, manage parts inventory, and complete administrative tasks. • Travel approximately 50% of the time on a scheduled and unscheduled basis. • Work independently and contribute as a member of the Field Services team. • Support high-value service projects and travel outside the assigned coverage territory when required. • Act as the primary point of contact for customers on technical and service issues. • Deliver exceptional service and contribute to total customer satisfaction.

🎯 Requirements

• A BS in Science or Engineering discipline with five years of industry experience in the service or support of life science instruments. • Substantial working knowledge of optical, electrical and mechanical sub-systems. • Expertise in employing root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Experience supporting mass spectrometry instrumentation, preferred. • Salesforce.com familiarity, preferred. • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time, including scheduled and unscheduled travel. • Ability to work independently and as a member of the Field Services team. • Ability to travel outside the assigned coverage territory when required.
