📋 Description

• Lead teams of dedicated professionals and technicians • Oversight, supervision and coaching of the site inspector(s) for assigned projects • Observing and reviewing projects during construction, monitoring conformance with plans, specifications, and other codes and regulations • Monitoring the progress of construction activities, ensuring cost, schedule, and quality standards are met • Reviews requests for payment draws from contractors and prepares payment certifications to the project owner in a timely manner • Communicates with and makes recommendations to the Project Manager, Client and design team to resolve site issues • Lead commissioning activities on water and wastewater treatment projects • Mentor and guide junior staff and site inspectors on construction and commissioning activities • Responsible for Contract Administration including submittal review, RFI, RFQ, Site Instructions, Change directives, Change Orders, Review of quotes • Develop construction management plans for projects and establish goals and objectives for unique and complex projects

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field • Minimum of 15 years related experience in construction management, preferably for water and/or wastewater facility projects • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng), preferred • Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus • Understanding local and regional jurisdictional codes, legal and design requirements
