<SUNPAN> is a Toronto-based furniture design, importing, and wholesale company offering modern home, commercial, and café furniture. The company provides contract-grade, in-stock, and made-to-order collections, operates showrooms and a dealer network, and runs a trade program serving interior designers and retailers. SUNPAN sells through dealers and an eCommerce storefront, offers white-glove delivery and sustainability-focused materials and practices.

📋 Description

• Review inspection reports in the Qarma application to confirm products meet quality and compliance requirements prior to shipment. • Coordinate first production inspections with the warehouse team, including staging and assembling parts as required. • Conduct incoming inspections of first production parts and document findings in Qarma. • Communicate quality or compliance concerns to factories and internal stakeholders. • Perform initial claims investigations by inspecting stock and collaborating with the Houston team to identify root causes. • Work with internal teams and global suppliers to implement corrective actions. • Coordinate quarantine of defective products when required. • Verify product conformance following corrective actions. • Review structural testing and compliance reports for furniture products. • Collaborate with Qarma to enhance the system for evolving business and factory needs. • Identify quality improvement opportunities and recommend process enhancements. • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by Management.

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4 years of quality control experience in the furniture industry. • Knowledge of testing standards and regulatory compliance. • Post-secondary education in a relevant field. • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent organizational and project management abilities. • Clear and effective communication skills. • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Experience with SAP and Qarma is an asset. • Ability to adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
