📋 Description

• Develop profitable business account relationships • Increase profitability from existing and new accounts • Identify business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products, and services • Make sales presentations to existing and prospective clients • Explain product and service benefits to meet client needs • Implement and maintain an effective referral network • Execute a call program to promote sales

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience • Seven to nine or more years of relevant work experience • Ability to travel (local and regional, some national) • Prior experience in business card sales/payments • Well-developed sales and new business development skills, including sales strategies, goals, and closing skills • Ability to build a book of business through proactive prospecting and developing and leveraging Centers of Influence (COIs) • Experience working with businesses with $2.5MM+ in annual revenue • Strong credit analysis and financial assessment skills • Understanding of basic accounting principles related to financial transactions • Demonstrated pipeline management, follow-up, and execution discipline • Solid knowledge of payment products • General understanding of product marketing and organizational operations • Strong customer relationship management, negotiation, decision-making, and creative problem-resolution skills • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies, procedures, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, and workplace conduct and safety policies • Ability to satisfy applicable employment eligibility verification and background-check requirements
