📋 Description

• Monitor network and system performance using various monitoring tools and software • Identify and troubleshoot complex network and system issues, escalating as necessary • Perform system and network device configurations and deployments in coordination with Backup Specialists and Toolset Orchestration Specialists • Maintain accurate documentation of network and system configurations and changes • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement solutions • Monitor and respond to alerts and notifications from network and system monitoring tools • Provide timely and effective communication of network and system issues to internal and external stakeholders • Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours incidents as needed • Mentor and train Analyst I staff on network and system monitoring best practices • Ensure tickets are properly created and notated to account for time • Manage personal workload and ensure service level agreements are met • Perform additional duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience • 3+ years of experience in network and system monitoring or related field • Experience with network and system monitoring tools • ConnectWise Ticketing, OpenDNS, Kaseya VSA, and PRTG are a plus • Knowledge of advanced networking concepts such as load balancing, VPN, and firewalls • Advanced understanding of server and operating system concepts, including Windows and Linux • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes • Must pass criminal and department of motor vehicles background checks • Must meet Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) requirements post-employment
