📋 Description

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for recommendation systems, personalization, ranking, and recommendation delivery • Translate AI/ML model capabilities, decision logic, ontology structure, and behavioral-science outputs into a coherent recommendation experience • Identify and prioritize personalization and recommendation opportunities tied to company goals • Write product requirements, define tailoring and delivery constraints, and set success criteria • Drive launch readiness and sequence dependencies across Engineering, ML, Science, and Product • Define and defend KPIs and supporting metrics for initiatives • Lead experiment design, including micro-randomization, adaptive trials, A/B testing, and in-product experimentation • Turn experiment results into roadmap decisions and changes • Monitor production recommendation quality and engagement, flag regressions or drift, and coordinate corrective action • Partner with ML engineers on ranking, retrieval, and recommendation architecture and technical trade-offs • Align Engineering, Design, Content, Data Science, and Behavioral Science teams on scope, sequencing, timelines, risks, and blockers • Present strategy, trade-offs, and recommendations to technical and executive audiences

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in product management • Meaningful experience owning recommendation, ranking, personalization, search, or feed products • Experience ideally in consumer tech, health tech, or wellness • Working knowledge of ranking, collaborative filtering, contextual bandits, or content-based recommendation approaches • Familiarity with personalization at scale • Comfort with A/B testing, experiment design, statistical significance, and metric frameworks • Ability to define, defend, and prevent KPI drift • Ability to work closely with ML engineers and data scientists on model performance, feature engineering, and system architecture • Ability to make product trade-offs based on technical constraints • Track record driving ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives from problem framing through shipped outcomes • Ability to influence and align engineering, data science, design, content, and behavioral teams without direct authority • Excellent written and verbal communication • Ability to write clear product specifications and present strategy and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences • Experience in health tech, digital health, wellness, wearables, or consumer subscription products strongly preferred
