📋 Description

• Own a specific technical domain, such as the Model Context Protocol ecosystem, wk-ai-prototyping repository, or automated testing agents • Architect and maintain internal MCP servers integrating Jira, Splunk, Datadog, and other systems • Deploy cloud-hosted autonomous agents within FedRAMP boundaries • Independently deliver sustainable, reusable, and optimized software solutions through milestones • Evaluate emerging AI tools such as Qodo, Cursor, and Claude Code for architectural and security compatibility • Document “Golden Paths” and playbooks for AI use in engineering workflows • Advise product teams on integrating AI agents and troubleshoot technical blockers • Implement and monitor AI impact metrics using tools such as Mstone • Mentor team members on AI-augmented development and conduct “Review-First” code reviews • Showcase successful AI use cases and strategic wins in engineering syncs

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of related software development experience • Strong proficiency in back-end services, proxy servers, and API integrations • Experience with Python, Go, or TypeScript is preferred • Extensive experience using AI-augmented IDEs (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) to maintain high throughput and quality • Ability to translate complex technical implementations into clear, actionable documentation for the broader engineering organization
