• **About the Role** • - Design and implement efficient and maintainable solutions, ensuring the best practices in software development. • - Lead the development of robust, scalable, and high-performance micro-services architecture. • - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and designers, to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient backend solutions. • - Drive architectural decisions and contribute to the overall system design. • - Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between different components of our platform while ensuring API security, performance, and reliability. • - Design and optimize database schemes and work closely with the database administrators to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. • - Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the backend systems and continuously optimize and improve the efficiency of existing code and systems. • - Mentor team members when needed and contribute with meaningful reviews.
• **About You** • - 5+ years experience in java software development. • - 2+ years engineering leadership experience. • - Good understanding of system architecture, cloud services (AWS) and scalable infrastructure. • - Experience with unit/integration/e2e testing (test driven development is a plus). • - Proficiency with REST APIs, both in implementing and consuming the interfaces. • - Solid experience with relational databases, CI/CD flows, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes. • - Excellent communication skills (fluent in English, both written and spoken), with a self-motivated and autonomous mindset.
