📋 Description

• Develop, program (Structured Text according to IEC 61131) and parameterize certified grid connection controllers and park controllers for large-scale commercial and industrial PV and energy storage systems • Implement complex control concepts such as active and reactive power management, Q(U) control and voltage droop control at the point of common coupling in accordance with VDE-AR-N 4110 and 4120 • Connect controllers to grid operator interfaces using telecontrol technology (IEC 60870-5-101/104, Modbus TCP/RTU) • Implement Redispatch 2.0 processes from a technical perspective • Technically implement and support the certification process in accordance with FGW guidelines, particularly TR8 • Coordinate with certification bodies • Conduct functional tests • Support remote and on-site commissioning, with planned travel of approximately 10–20% • Prepare system documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Completed degree or technician training in electrical engineering, automation engineering, energy engineering, computer science or a comparable qualification • Solid experience in PLC programming (Structured Text according to IEC 61131-3) • Experience applying and programming grid connection controllers and park controllers • Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols: IEC 60870-5-104 and Modbus • Practical knowledge of Redispatch 2.0 • Basic knowledge of VDE-AR-N 4110 / 4120 and VDE-AR-N 4105 • Experience with FGW guidelines TR3, TR4 and TR8 • Analytical mindset, excellent troubleshooting skills and a structured approach to work • Strong communication skills when liaising with grid operators, certification bodies and internal teams • Class B driving licence • Willingness to travel as needed for targeted on-site commissioning activities • Business-fluent German at C1/C2 level • Very good English skills
