📋 Description

• Evaluate legal responses involving French litigation, disputes, and contentious matters • Assess the accuracy, completeness, reasoning, and professional credibility of legal responses • Identify incorrect legal principles, unsupported conclusions, material omissions, and analytical gaps • Compare outputs from two legal research systems side by side • Determine which response more effectively addresses the underlying legal question • Review French court procedure, jurisdictional considerations, remedies, litigation strategy, and procedural requirements • Evaluate the appropriate use of legal authorities and principles • Score responses against a standardised rubric • Apply evaluation criteria consistently across assignments • Document material errors and strengths clearly • Provide concise written justification for evaluation decisions • Complete reviews independently and within agreed deadlines • Maintain confidentiality and comply with NDA requirements

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 years of law-firm experience; 3+ years preferred • Professional experience focused on litigation, disputes, or contentious practice • Primarily law-firm experience is required • Candidates currently working in-house may be suitable where they moved in-house within the last 2 years following relevant law-firm experience • Qualified to practise in France as an avocat/e • Strong command of French litigation and procedural law • Ability to evaluate complex legal reasoning accurately and efficiently • Native or fluent French • Precise written communication and strong attention to legal detail • Comfortable working independently against structured evaluation criteria • Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, law firm, institution, or other third party • H1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable for this engagement
