📋 Description
• Operate and maintain production infrastructure and distributed systems • Scale, fail over, and migrate databases, queues, and stateful workloads without downtime • Debug distributed systems from symptoms to verified root cause • Document incidents and root causes so others can act on them • Apply security practices including least privilege, blast-radius control, and secrets hygiene • Develop infrastructure tooling and automation using Python, Go, or Bash • Take ownership of products, projects, and initiatives • Create strategies or parts of strategies and design/build scalable solutions and processes • Collaborate with a global, fully remote team at 360Dialog, a WhatsApp platform for independent software providers
🎯 Requirements
• Proactive, independent ownership and ability to drive outcomes without hand-holding • Experience operating production systems, including databases, queues, and stateful workloads • Experience scaling, handling failover, and performing migrations without downtime • Ability to debug unfamiliar distributed systems from symptom to verified root cause • Ability to document root causes and actionable findings • Security awareness covering least privilege, blast radius, and secrets hygiene • Ability to code infrastructure using Python, Go, or Bash • Fluent written English • Growth mindset and hunger to learn • Ability to use AI assistants effectively and identify when they are wrong • Talented junior or experienced senior profile
