📋 Description
• Develop, simulate, and fine-tune game math and mechanics with Product Owners/Producers • Write clean, maintainable Python code for game modules, cheats, and underlying game models • Participate in the full game creation process from initial concept to release • Perform simulation runs to align game performance with desired outcomes and portfolio standards • Provide competitive game math analysis and monitor top-performing games and industry trends • Rapidly prototype new game mechanics to prove concepts • Collaborate with QA, Front-End, and backend development teams, providing math specifications and support • Act as a constructive sparring partner to continuously improve product quality
🎯 Requirements
• University degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field • At least 4 years of commercial experience as a game mathematician or in a similar online gambling position • Strong Python coding skills with object-oriented programming • Extensive Java or C# experience with willingness to quickly transition to Python accepted • Experience with production code, not only internal analytical scripts • Strong understanding of unit testing and code coverage • Exceptional problem-solving and math model troubleshooting skills • Deep knowledge of and passion for the iGaming market, popular slot mechanics, and player behavior • Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly to non-mathematical team members • Open-minded, team-player attitude, and stress tolerance • Experience with Git or other version control systems • Upper-Intermediate or Advanced English, B2+ written and spoken • Experience developing client-server applications such as Flask is a plus • Experience working in cross-functional squads is a plus • Strong mathematical intuition, creativity, and innovation drive are a plus • Self-organization and task-prioritization ability are a plus
