📋 Description

• Lead the design and enhancement of automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines; set standards for excellence • Use containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes and deployment tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or TeamCity • Collaborate with software developers to identify operational gaps, address incidents in real time, and ensure rapid root cause analysis • Establish and enforce standards for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or SaltStack • Drive release-ready deployment management processes and end-to-end documentation for seamless operations • Architect and manage complex cloud environments (advanced cloud strategy) focusing on performance, security, and scalability, primarily on AWS • Design and implement monitoring, logging, and metrics at scale (Prometheus, ELK, CloudWatch, SumoLogic, AppDynamics) • Analyze capacity vs. utilization of production environments while managing costs responsibly • Evaluate and adopt new cloud services and product offerings, develop proof-of-concepts, and recommend innovations • Mentor and serve as a leader to DevOps Engineers, fostering continuous improvement and best practices • Partner with Architecture, Software Development, and Product Management teams to ensure reliability and scalability • Generate excitement for DevOps practices while driving clear priorities for the group • Tackle complex system performance issues using advanced analytical skills to maintain reliability and efficiency

• Strong attention to detail with a reliability-first mindset • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams • Analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex systems issues • Time management and organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple deliverables • Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic environments • Proven ability to lead and mentor junior DevOps engineers • Alignment with 3Pillar’s core values of Responsibility, Growth, Action, Human-Centered focus, and Collaboration • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field; or equivalent practical experience • 5–8 years of related experience in DevOps • Strong coding/scripting skills in Python, .NET, Ruby, or Go • Fluency in Windows and Linux System Administration (Windows Server, CentOS/Ubuntu/Amazon Linux, PowerShell, Bash) • Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, ECS, DynamoDB, Lambda, VPC, etc.) • Experience with databases (MySQL) • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, GitLab, TeamCity) • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) • Strong knowledge of monitoring, logging, source control (Git), networking, security, and database management • Proven leadership skills with ability to mentor, influence, and collaborate across diverse teams • Exceptional English communication skills with stakeholders, customers, and team members • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with ability to work independently and under pressure • Advanced certifications related to DevOps, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and Kubernetes (desired) • Demonstrated ability to prioritize efforts based on business impact and provide accurate status tracking and reporting (desired)
