📋 Description

• Analyze data integrity challenges, investigate and correct data, and monitor SQL data to identify and address key issues • Perform root cause analysis through SQL, logs, and code, then fix data issues and remedy code • Communicate project status and recommendations to client project stakeholders • Craft efficient, performant, testable, scalable, secure, high-quality client code • Participate in planning and estimation using project methods and tools • Gather requirements and organize and present developed features for clients • Execute complex activities within methodology and quality standards across diverse engagements • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points, anticipate problems, and iterate on solutions • Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and governance activities • Mentor engineers through Communities of Practice and project teams • Drive project delivery independently from conceptualization through deployment within defined architecture • Design and implement scalable Node.js backend services and APIs • Use AWS serverless services including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and RDS • Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex issues • Stay current with Node.js and AWS technologies

🎯 Requirements

• Experience designing and implementing scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js • Experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, and S3 • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute technical requirements • Experience optimizing system performance and troubleshooting complex issues • Experience analyzing DynamoDB/RDS data errors and inconsistencies through logs and queries, performing root cause analysis, and fixing data and code issues • Experience with Agile software development methodologies • Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming principles, including abstraction and encapsulation • High-level design proficiency using UML, C4, or ArchiMate • Experience creating and implementing well-tested, scalable, performant enterprise-level systems • Initiative and practice mentoring engineers and decision-makers • Good understanding of SOLID principles • Familiarity with OWASP • Proficiency in English • Familiarity with modern frontend build tools and CI/CD pipelines • Professional software engineering experience on multi-discipline teams • Proficiency designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (Kubernetes optional) • Knowledge of Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs) • Knowledge of architectural patterns such as microservices and serverless • Knowledge of design patterns such as Factory, Singleton, and Observer • Unit testing experience
