📋 Description

• Enter global port, terminal, and berth information from source documents within allotted time limits • Compile, verify, and sort information collected from the network • Understand, interpret, and capture data from the global network • Compile data for information queries and access relevant files • Create reports and maintain tracking sheets based on assigned tasks • Collect port data, including general information, parameters, restrictions, local regulations, cargo work, and navigation details • Analyze, vet, and add or update data in the business intelligence system • Act as the key point of contact for assigned clients and provide requested information • Update vessel port calls in the system using emails, websites, AIS-populated data, and other open sources • Analyze and update commodity flow information using UNCTAD and customs websites • Prepare periodic reports for clients and internal stakeholders • Coordinate with clients to obtain market information using internal and external resources • Collect and update shipping market news, trends, and key events • Provide stakeholders with reports and vital trends supporting commercial and customer business decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Any degree or equivalent business qualification • Extensive knowledge of MS Office products • Proven data entry work experience • Strong in Data Collection & Data Management • Excellent communication skills • Typing speed and accuracy • Good writing and rephrasing skills • Ability to compare and check data for accuracy and consistency across different sources • Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools • Desirable: Strong in advanced formulas in Microsoft Excel • Desirable: Experience working directly with Microsoft Excel on VBA Macros • Desirable: Experience in the shipping industry with backend processes • Desirable: Basic knowledge of shipping terms • Desirable: A degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, or similar field • Desirable: Certification in Microsoft Tools • Ability to comply with company HSSE, Compliance and Ethics policies and procedures • Willingness to complete required HSSE, Compliance and Ethics training
