📋 Description

• Lead the technical strategy, design, and execution of migrating business logic from Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures into modular .NET 8 microservices • Design and oversee cloud deployment architecture using AWS EKS and AWS Service Mesh or equivalent cloud-native tools • Directly lead, mentor, and provide technical direction to a team of five backend engineers • Define microservices patterns, database communication strategies, data validation frameworks, and performance-tuning guidelines • Serve as the primary technical contact during the migration and bridge legacy database structures with modern cloud-native architectures

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with progression into application and system architecture • 5+ years of experience in core architecture • Expert-level proficiency in .NET 8 core frameworks, C#, and robust Web APIs/microservices • Deep hands-on experience with Oracle SQL/PL/SQL and complex legacy stored procedures • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms • Familiarity with AWS EKS and AWS Service Mesh architectures preferred; comparable Azure/GCP tools considered • Experience leading or mentoring development teams of 4–6 engineers • Experience managing sprint technical goals and executing code quality frameworks • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience required • Must be able to work without visa sponsorship or transfer, as 66degrees cannot sponsor or transfer visas
