📋 Description

• Lead the technical solution input to create winning, compliant, and commercially competitive bids. • Develop conceptual and detailed electrification architectures for projects in data centres, utilities, renewables, and emerging sectors. • Define system topologies including MV/LV distribution, protection, SCADA, digital systems, and BESS integration. • Create and support eHouse / prefabricated substation solutions, including equipment layout, compliance, HVAC considerations, and integration of ABB technologies. • Provide technical leadership during project bid, supporting compliant and competitive solution proposals. • Engage with customers, end users, consultants, EPCs, and DNOs to influence specifications and present ABB solutions. • Collaborate closely with ABB sales, engineering, product management, and global solution teams. • Capture market insights and lessons learnt from executed projects to continuously improve our solution offering.

🎯 Requirements

• Solid understanding of MV switchgear, protection, and substation architectures. • Working knowledge of SCADA, communication interfaces, and power automation. • Familiarity with BESS concepts, grid integration, and power systems. • Experience with eHouses, packaged substations, or prefabricated electrical buildings. • HND in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. • Experience in solution architecture, consulting engineering, applications engineering, or tendering. • Prior UK market experience with electrical projects is an advantage.
