📋 Description

• Provide strategic direction, leadership, management, and coordination of Quality Management & Engineering functions within a local ABB EUOPC Operations in Functional Safety related sectors. • Initiate, coordinate, drive, and oversee team development and continual improvement of processes and procedures. • Strengthen the quality of engineering and design capabilities. • Drive team performance to ensure assigned engineering operations are executed with the expected level of quality. • Provide quality assurance in Functional Safety Management areas and extend support to Quality Management Systems. • Cooperate and coordinate directly with the EUOPC SEC Team Leader and other EUOPC Team Leaders leading FS Engineers. • Support Operations & Business Engagement Managers in Functional Safety matters and provide pre-sales support to LBLs in Functional Safety matters. • Report directly to the ABB EUOPC Oil & Gas, Chemical & Refining Group Leader.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related fields. • Good understanding of pre-sales, sales, engineering & project management and quality control processes. • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Experience with business analysis and process development in Functional Safety related industries (mainly the Energy Industries, such as oil & gas, chemicals & refining, power generation but not limited to). • Strong understanding of quality management principles and practices, including IEC 61508 / IEC 61511 or ISO 9001 implementation and maintenance. • Excellent communication, organizational and training skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. • English and Czech Language (as needed for handling of internal directives and ISO9001 documentation in Czech).
