• Work on-site with customers to identify opportunities for operational improvement • Perform field service tasks, including identifying technical issues and conducting on-site troubleshooting • Execute installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, retrofits, end-of-life services, and replacements • Coach technicians and supervise complex site activities • Act as trainers when needed, for team members and customers • Prepare material lists for service activities and ensure all materials, parts, and equipment meet quality standards • Proactively identify potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions • Contribute to customer satisfaction by building and maintaining positive relationships • Identify potential new sales opportunities while addressing customer needs
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology with 4+ years’ experience servicing critical power equipment OR Associates Degree in electrical technology with 6+ years’ experience in servicing critical power equipment OR High School Diploma/GED and equivalent work and/or military experience (8+ years) servicing critical power equipment. • Advanced level ability to interact and communicate (written and verbal) information to varying levels within the organization. • Collaborates well with others. • Advanced level of ability to use Microsoft Office products. • Moderate ability to Project Manage using MS Project or Excel. • Advanced ability to write test plans and reports detailing test results. • Advanced ability to stay organized and meet deadlines on administrative duties. • Works with a sense of urgency and ownership
