⢠Provide management and leadership to the German sales organization in planning and executing sales and growth opportunities, demonstrating commercial excellence ⢠Ensure all business operations are conducted in compliance with Abbott guidelines and ethical policies ⢠Drive sales excellence and cultivate a high-performance team culture ⢠Effectively manage commercial efforts to support the Cardiometabolic business unit's objectives ⢠Deliver revenue and margin targets by developing and executing Sales Excellence within the German sales organization ⢠Support, coach and develop the sales team ⢠Retain and grow the Cardiometabolic business according to specific goals for sales, margins, market share, frequency and coverage of segmented target customers, and sales funnel management ⢠Track performance against key performance indicators and lead/implement corrective actions as necessary ⢠Foster cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Marketing, Technical Support and Customer/Sales Service to ensure alignment and meet business goals, customer needs and satisfaction ⢠Define sales strategy in collaboration with the General Manager and contribute to budget planning ⢠Analyze market dynamics, trends and the competitive landscape; identify risks and opportunities for business growth ⢠Develop KOL management and strategic partnerships/alliances
⢠Strong commercial experience, preferably within medical devices, diagnostics or healthcare ⢠Minimum 3 years of frontline sales management experience with a proven track record ⢠B.A. or equivalent degree or other relevant education ⢠Proven sales background, an established network and strong ability to influence senior stakeholders ⢠Demonstrated experience as an effective people manager and in building a high-performing team culture ⢠Solid knowledge of the German healthcare system and marketplace ⢠Deep understanding of market trends and the competitive environment ⢠Strong business analysis and structured problem-solving skills; project management experience preferred ⢠Self-starter with a customer-focused and results-driven attitude ⢠Able to work independently and in cross-functional teams, collaborating effectively at all levels ⢠Team player: collaborative and empathetic ⢠Able to adapt in a fast-paced and complex environment ⢠Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate resilience ⢠Encourages subordinates to think analytically and creatively and empowers them to perform at their best ⢠Drives for results and focuses the organization on consistently achieving high performance ⢠Initiates change, enrolls others in the vision and takes proactive, meaningful actions ⢠Applies market insight and brings market intelligence into winning strategies
