📋 Description

• Working on a wide range of DB pensions projects for DB pensions clients and bulk annuity providers and may include any/all of the below plus other project types as they arise: Benefit correction/rectification exercises • Benefit creation exercises, such as contingent spouse pensions • Benefit calculation audits • Benefit calculation proforma for administration teams to use on smaller clients calculations testing (both doing calculations to test against automated results and using pensions knowledge to identify errors in/improve automated calculations) • Drafting consulting reports on projects

🎯 Requirements

• Essential Experience in a DB pensions consulting/technical environment • Practical, wide/deep knowledge of occupational DB pensions • Flexibility to work on different types of DB pensions projects • Ability to deliver to tight timescales • Clear communication with actuaries and non-actuaries • Meticulous attention to detail • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Experienced user of Microsoft Excel • Desirable Making good progress with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries exams (if have an actuarial background – option to start if not already progressing, not compulsory
