📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain well-tested backend services and APIs supporting certification, commerce, and learner-communication workflows • Connect certification workflows to commerce, communications, payment processors, learning management systems, and credentialing vendors • Work closely with stakeholders to identify, understand, and document project requirements • Collaborate with teammates and give and receive constructive feedback • Follow existing team standards and help improve them • Use test-driven development to create high-quality, maintainable solutions • Apply learning and share knowledge with the team • Help drive adoption of emerging AI paradigms, including agentic development and LDD

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in modern AI development practices, specifically architecting and leveraging AI agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), and LDD principles • 3+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining production software services, ideally in a cloud-native environment • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go and Python are used) • Proficient with test-driven development • Proficiency with Git, including cherry picking, squashing, and rebasing • Proficiency with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions is used) • Experience designing, writing, and working with APIs, including integrating with third-party services such as payment processors, learning management systems, and credentialing platforms • Working familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS is used) and monitoring and observability tools, enough to support and troubleshoot the services you build • Successful completion of employment verification and background checks after accepting an offer • Verification of job titles and dates of employment with two previous employers
