📋 Description

• Develop and maintain Java-based backend applications and microservices focused on performance and reliability • Implement applications using clean-code, testing, and performance-optimization best practices • Collaborate with DevOps to containerize and deploy applications and integrate CI/CD pipelines • Use event-driven architecture to build scalable, asynchronous, and decoupled systems • Design and maintain efficient relational database integrations • Participate in architectural discussions and perform code reviews • Use AI code companions and intelligent development tools to improve productivity and code quality • Mentor junior developers and foster collaboration and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development using Java 8 or above • Strong proficiency with Spring Boot and the Spring framework ecosystem • Strong proficiency with Angular 19 • Hands-on experience designing and implementing RESTful microservices • Proficiency in writing optimized SQL queries and working with databases • Working knowledge of Apache Kafka or similar messaging platforms • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, message-driven systems, and distributed systems • Good understanding of Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes • Familiarity with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools for automated build and deployment • Experience with Git and Agile development practices • Regular use of AI tools to improve productivity, automate or reduce repetitive work, support decision-making, and deliver higher-quality outcomes • Ability to use AI tools responsibly by structuring effective prompts, critically validating outputs, understanding limitations, and taking ownership of the final result • Strong English communication skills • German language skills are a plus • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure • Familiarity with performance tuning and monitoring Java applications • Knowledge of security best practices in backend development • Experience with Node.js, kf-theme, and material-ui
