📋 Description

• Develop detailed 3D models and visualisations for event concepts, layouts, installations, staging, and custom-built elements • Produce high-quality, photorealistic renders with realistic materials, textures, lighting, branding, and environmental elements • Create CAD drawings including event layouts, site plans, build drawings, fabrication details, elevations, and production documentation • Prepare technical drawings with dimensions, annotations, specifications, and Bills of Materials where required • Translate creative concepts and site information into practical, production-ready designs • Collaborate with event planners, production teams, vendors, and stakeholders to refine designs • Prepare DWG, STEP, and other technical files for vendors and fabrication teams • Support custom fabrication by ensuring drawings are suitable for manufacturing or CNC processes • Perform clash detection and review layouts for spatial or installation conflicts • Consider spatial planning, crowd flow, AV integration, accessibility, safety, and installation requirements • Optimise 3D models for presentations, virtual walkthroughs, and file performance • Maintain organised design files, revisions, and project documentation • Manage multiple design projects while meeting production schedules and deadlines

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in 3D design, CAD drafting, event visualisation, exhibition design, experiential design, staging, or a related discipline • Strong portfolio demonstrating both 3D visualisation/rendering and technical drafting capabilities • Proficiency with one or more 3D modelling/design platforms such as SketchUp, Vectorworks, Autodesk products, Rhino, Maya, or Cinema 4D • Strong CAD drafting capability using AutoCAD, Fusion 360, Vectorworks, or similar software • Experience with rendering tools such as Chaos V-Ray, Thea Render, Unreal Engine, or similar • Ability to produce detailed technical drawings suitable for event production and fabrication • Understanding of materials, lighting, textures, scale, dimensions, and spatial design • Knowledge of event-production considerations including layouts, staging, AV integration, crowd flow, and custom structures • Familiarity with BIM/clash-detection tools such as Navisworks is advantageous • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify practical design or production issues • Excellent time management with the ability to work across multiple projects and changing deadlines • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Experience in live events and event production, exhibitions and trade shows, experiential or activation design, stage or set design, custom fabrication, entertainment production, retail or branded installations, or architectural visualisation with strong technical drafting exposure would be highly regarded • Portfolio showcasing relevant 3D models, renders, event layouts, and/or technical drawings
