• Manage and develop new direct manufacturing customers by promoting specialty grains and oils, with a focus on grains. • Develop and execute customer-centric strategies to drive volume growth, maximize margin performance, and expand market share. • Develop and maintain customer project pipeline. • Develop account plans for customers to deliver annual volume and profitability targets. • Provide accurate forecasts based on customer demand. • Collaborate with multiple internal departments to add value and drive growth. • Maintain and further develop relationships with existing customer base. • Establish and maintain new customers by building relationships with key stakeholders in Procurement, R&D and other departments. • Represent Adams at trade events.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; in food, agriculture, science or a related field • 3+ years of account management or business development experience, preferably in ingredients (food or non-food) • Proven success in managing accounts and driving revenue growth • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills • Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines in a changing environment • Available for overnight travel. Travel frequency will vary depending on business needs. Estimated 50% maximum.
