📋 Description

• Analyze the existing solution by reading Java/Spring code, Oracle schemas, PL/SQL, configuration, and data samples • Reverse-engineer business rules, validations, message handling, and edge cases • Map current manual and semi-automated operational processes through interviews, shadowing, and artifact review • Identify operational pain points, workarounds, and risks • Produce As-Is documentation, including process maps, integration and data-flow diagrams, business-rule catalogues, and gap analyses • Design To-Be processes for the modernized platform, including exception handling, operational monitoring, and Databricks-enabled reporting and analytics use cases • Define portals and operational tooling, including user roles, journeys, screen-level specifications, wireframes, and required data and APIs • Specify business rules, data mappings, and integration behaviour with architects and engineers • Define migration scope, parallel-run and cutover scenarios, fallback procedures, and business acceptance criteria • Own and prioritize the product backlog, including epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery-plan scope trade-offs • Run workshops and act as the main functional contact for business owners, operations teams, and IT stakeholders • Ensure availability, performance, auditability, and data-protection needs are reflected in processes and portal design • Support UAT, accept delivered functionality, and prepare process documentation and user-training materials before go-live

🎯 Requirements

• At least 4+ years of commercial experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Systems Analyst, ideally on legacy modernization, migration, or integration projects • Proven track record of As-Is / To-Be analysis • Ability to read code, ideally Java / Spring • Ability to write SQL using Oracle and PostgreSQL • Ability to understand existing logic, profile data, and verify assumptions • Strong process-modeling skills, including BPMN, swimlanes, data-flow, and integration diagrams • Experience documenting business rules and data mappings • Experience defining portals or internal tools, including user roles, user journeys, wireframes, and functional specifications • Experience with wireframing tools such as Figma or Miro • Good understanding of modern cloud architectures, ideally Azure • Understanding of integrations and REST APIs • Understanding of data platforms such as Databricks • Hands-on backlog management using Jira, Confluence, or equivalent • Comfortable working on business-critical operational systems • Experience using AI assistants for analysis, documentation, and code comprehension • Excellent communication and facilitation skills in English at C1 level • Ability to lead workshops with engineers and non-technical stakeholders • Fluency in English and Polish, written and spoken • Eligibility to work in the EU • Nice to have: experience with complex business-critical operational systems, database migration projects, and CBAP or PSPO certification
