📋 Description

• Design and implement cloud-native data services based on modern microservices architectures • Develop and operate semantic data products using knowledge graphs, metadata, and data contracts following a data-centric approach • Work with dbt, Trino, or Dremio in a cloud-native environment • Ensure data quality, observability, and governance across data products • Integrate data platforms into existing enterprise architectures • Collaborate with Data Architects, Knowledge Engineers, and AI Engineers to deliver data-driven use cases • Help shape data-centric development standards and best practices • Use the latest frameworks and products in the data and cloud-native space • Collaborate with existing and new customers within a Community of Practice • Work with Project Leads, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Security Engineers, Operations Teams, and Test Teams

🎯 Requirements

• Fluent German, both written and spoken (C1) • Good command of English • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a comparable qualification • Several years of experience in data projects • Experience programming data pipelines and integration services • Experience with REST, OpenAPI, Kafka, AsyncAPI, and API testing • Experience developing microservices in a cloud-native environment • Knowledge of Spring Boot, Quarkus, or comparable microservices frameworks • Knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS • Good knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL, and graph databases) • Understanding of data architecture and data engineering concepts • Knowledge of data-centric architecture, data products, event-driven architectures, ETL/ELT, and data pipelines • Ideally, exposure to semantic technologies such as graph databases, RDF, and SPARQL • Understanding of security, privacy, and governance in data-driven systems • Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and an independent working style
