📋 Description

• Manages and directs professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects • Manages Federal environmental investigation and remediation projects (CERCLA projects and federal facilities) • Manages RI/FS, Remedial Design, Five Year Reviews • Regular client interaction on technical/cost/schedule topics • Familiar with project invoicing and cash flow management • Project scheduling experience and expertise • Analyzes financial statements and completes budget tracking • Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance • Performs work with minimal direction with periodic reporting to area manager • Oversees the preparation of work plans and organizes project studies • Supervises junior and mid-level staff during all phases of project work • Occasional overnight travel required

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • U.S. Citizenship is required • 5+ years of experience directly as a project manager (preferred) • Experience as a client facing professional with seller-doer ambitions (preferred) • Professional License (PE, PG) in New England states (preferred) • 8+ years’ experience in environmental remediation (soil, water, sediment, PFAS, munitions) project management (preferred) • Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or related degree (preferred) • Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations (preferred) • Experience successfully managing environmental projects for Federal clients (USACE, Air Force, Navy, EPA) (preferred) • Thorough working knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA processes (preferred) • Experience in team management and scheduling of staff and resources • Superior communication, writing, editing, and reporting skills • Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders • Interest in business development • Have led teams of professionals in executing Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessment, and Treatability Studies in support of Federal environmental projects
