📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership for an engineering squad, guiding architectural decisions and ensuring delivery quality • Design, implement, and evolve scalable backend solutions for digital products • Define architecture standards, development practices, and engineering best practices • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, security, and maintainability • Support the technical growth of the team through mentorship, feedback, and dissemination of best practices • Collaborate with Product, Data, and Design teams to define technical solutions aligned with business needs • Make technical decisions considering trade-offs in scalability, performance, cost, and security • Ensure system reliability through robust testing practices, observability, monitoring, and continuous deployment • Lead architectural evolution initiatives and continuous improvement of the platform • Participate in technical project planning, estimations, and delivery strategy definition • Support integrations with external services, APIs, and legacy systems when required

🎯 Requirements

• Strong expertise in modern backend development with at least one primary language such as Python, Go, or Node.js • Experience with distributed systems, messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and service-oriented architectures (microservices) • Hands-on experience in technical leadership of squads, active code review, and mentorship of engineers • Familiarity with modern infrastructure: Docker, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring/logging, and continuous deployment • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis • Ability to make technical decisions considering trade-offs in performance, scalability, cost, and security • Leadership experience in projects with multiple integrations and technical dependencies, such as external APIs, billing, authentication, and legacy systems • Desirable: experience with highly available products and mobile applications • Ability to design sustainable architectural solutions and guide technical decisions in partnership with Product • All opportunities are open to people with disabilities (PwD) and individuals rehabilitated by the INSS
