📋 Description

• Partnering with agency leaders, functional teams, and implementation partners to translate operational needs into future-state Workday processes. • Leading current-state assessments and future-state design sessions across areas such as finance, HR, payroll, procurement, and reporting. • Identifying process gaps, dependencies, risks, and policy considerations that could affect implementation readiness. • Facilitating stakeholder workshops, documenting business requirements, and driving decisions across multiple agencies or departments. • Supporting organizational change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption planning. • Coordinating testing, data validation, deployment readiness, and issue resolution to ensure the Workday solution meets business and regulatory requirements. • Developing executive-ready updates that clearly communicate progress, risks, decisions, and recommended next steps. • Helping establish standardized processes while accounting for the governance, compliance, and operational complexities of the public sector.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in business transformation, ERP implementation, management consulting, or large-scale process improvement. • Experience supporting Workday or a comparable enterprise ERP implementation across functions such as HR, payroll, finance, procurement, or reporting. • Demonstrated experience assessing current-state operations and designing standardized future-state business processes. • Experience working within the public sector or with state, local, federal, higher-education, or similarly regulated organizations. • Strong understanding of public-sector governance, compliance, procurement, and stakeholder-management considerations. • Ability to gather and document business requirements, process flows, decisions, risks, dependencies, and action items. • Proven ability to work independently, influence without authority, and operate effectively in ambiguous environments. • Direct Workday implementation experience within a large public-sector organization is a plus. • Workday certification or hands-on experience with Workday HCM, Financial Management, Payroll, Procurement, or Reporting is a plus. • Experience working with system integrators and cross-functional implementation teams is a plus. • Familiarity with public-sector accessibility, data privacy, audit, records-retention, or regulatory requirements is a plus. • Certifications such as Prosci, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or a related transformation credential is a plus.
