📋 Description

• Work across high-impact, large-scale digital platforms for clients like the American Red Cross, Barnes & Noble, Aspen Institute, and the University of Pennsylvania • Advise clients on modern best practices and architecture for performant, scalable systems • Architect and build WordPress/Gutenberg-based themes, plugins, and CMS integrations • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of strategists, designers, developers, and project managers • Implement SSO integrations and manage deployments in Apache/Nginx and MySQL/MariaDB environments • Meet precise timelines, goals, and business needs for platforms serving millions of monthly users • Contribute to open-source web solutions requiring technical depth and strategic execution

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced and collaborative Full-Stack Developer with strong WordPress Gutenberg expertise • Strong experience developing with WordPress Gutenberg • Solid experience with React (or similar frameworks like Vue.js or Ember) • Proficiency with PHP and custom theme/plugin development • Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, etc.) • Familiarity with Apache, Nginx, MySQL/MariaDB environments • A strong grasp of modern development workflows and version control (Git) • Experience implementing SSO integrations and workflows • Ability to obtain a federal government security clearance (bonus) • Experience with Linux server management, DevOps, or cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.) (bonus) • Agency experience working on multiple client-facing projects (bonus) • Familiarity with Git workflows and deployment strategies • Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.; no visa support available
