📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain features in Signal, Foundry’s in-house ERP, primarily in Elixir, Phoenix, and Phoenix LiveView • Own product features end to end, from requirements and design through delivery, production support, and iteration • Work across production and work order management, inventory and materials tracking, procurement, and integration scheduling • Collaborate with developers, product, and operations stakeholders across the US and India • Participate in the design of large, complex solutions and contribute to architectural decisions • Write well-tested, maintainable code and conduct thorough, constructive code reviews • Mentor and support other engineers and help build the India engineering culture • Build and maintain integrations between Signal, other AHEAD platforms, and third-party systems • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues • Contribute to the roadmap, development processes, and engineering standards • Use AI tools and coding agents while remaining accountable for correctness, security, and maintainability • Review AI-generated code rigorously and help shape the team’s AI workflows, tooling, and standards

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience • Strong proficiency in Elixir and Phoenix, with hands-on experience building applications in Phoenix LiveView • Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), data modeling, and Ecto • Good testing practices and experience with CI/CD, build tooling, and containerization • Fluency with modern AI development tools and coding agents, and the judgment to verify what they produce • Strong understanding of and passion for software design, architecture, and usability • Experience with other backend languages, and some experience with JavaScript and front-end frameworks • Experience working on a distributed team across time zones • Clear, direct written and verbal communication in English • Comfortable working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to turn business problems into working software • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to make sound decisions with incomplete information • Driven to keep learning and stay current with the latest development practices and tooling • Familiarity with REST and GraphQL APIs and cloud infrastructure is a plus • Experience with ERP systems, manufacturing, or supply chain is a plus • Regular overlap with US working hours
