📋 Description

• Provide legal advice: offer expert legal guidance and orientation to clients on flight claims, ensuring they are aware of their rights and the potential legal remedies available to them. • Case management: manage a portfolio of client flight claims, including reviewing documentation, conducting thorough research, analyzing relevant laws and regulations, and formulating legal strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients. • Negotiation and settlement: engage with airlines and other relevant parties to negotiate fair settlements on behalf of clients, striving to obtain the best possible resolution for each matter. • Litigation representation: represent clients in court proceedings, including drafting legal documents, preparing evidence, conducting hearings, and presenting arguments to effectively advance clients’ claims. • Compliance and documentation: maintain accurate and detailed case files in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. • Continuous learning: stay up to date on developments in consumer protection law, aviation regulations, and relevant legal precedents to deepen expertise and provide current, effective advice and representation for clients.

🎯 Requirements

• Legal qualification: law degree from an accredited institution and valid admission to the bar. • Experience: minimum of 2 years of legal practice experience with a focus on consumer rights or aviation law. • Experience handling flight compensation claims is highly desirable. • Knowledge: strong understanding of relevant consumer protection laws, aviation regulations, and legal procedures related to flight claims. • Litigation skills: demonstrable experience representing clients in court, including drafting legal documents, conducting hearings, and effectively presenting arguments. • Communication skills: excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and provide empathetic client support. • Languages: full professional proficiency in English. • Negotiation skills: proven track record in negotiating and resolving legal claims, with the ability to balance client interests and legal constraints. • Analytical thinking: strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess claim merit, perform legal research, and develop effective legal strategies. • Organization and time management: ability to manage a varied caseload, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
