• Administer and maintain IT systems and infrastructure, including servers, storage, and cloud platforms, to support telecom operations. • Ensure the performance, security, and availability of enterprise IT systems tailored to the telecom industry’s needs. • Collaborate with internal teams to support telecom-specific applications and integrations. • Manage user accounts, access permissions, and IT resources across various systems. • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime. • Implement and manage data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions. • Ensure compliance with telecom industry standards, data protection regulations, and company policies. • Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides. • Provide technical support to end users, ensuring effective communication and resolution of IT-related concerns. • Research and recommend technology upgrades or enhancements to optimize IT operations. • Follow SOC2 protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards for security and data privacy. • Learn and support proprietary applications; handle other duties as assigned by management.
• Must have good English proficiency, both written and verbal. • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field; or equivalent work experience. • Proven experience as an IT Systems Administrator, preferably in a telecom-focused organization. • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and cloud environments. • Proficiency in managing enterprise software, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and IT tools. • Knowledge of telecom industry applications and requirements is a significant advantage. • Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus. • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Server+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are advantageous. • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, remote working environment. • Familiarity with SOC2 protocols and data privacy/security compliance. • Must learn proprietary applications. • Must live in El Salvador or in other LATAM countries outside of the US. • Reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace to effectively perform job responsibilities.
